Mary Anna Garagozzo
Apr 27, 2018Born July 27, 1931 to Vito and Frances (Russo) Celentano, Mary Anna was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She work alongside her husband at Charles Hair Salon for 54 years retiring in 2005. She was a member of St. Patrick’s Church in Mt. Morris and St. Luke’s the Evangelist Parish of Western Livingston County where she served for over 35 years as Eucharistic Minister serving the County Campus and the homebound. Mary Anna loved to bake her famous cookies with her children, grandchildren and daughter-in-law. They were always her special gift to family and friends during the holidays.She was predeceased by her husband, Charles and is survived by her four children, Diane (David) Sabathne of Illinois, David (Wendy) Garagozzo of Leicester, Joyce (Ron) Richards and Sandy (Lou) Cardilli, both of Victor; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; sister, Delores Dacey of Fairport and brother, Michael (Ellen) Celentano of Schenectady. Friends may call from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the John W. Martin Funeral Home, 37 Chapel Street, (Route 408), Mount Morris. Funeral Mass will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Church. Interment St. Patrick’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be to the Alzheimer’s Association, 435 East Henrietta Rd., Rochester, NY 14620.
